Do you need the Georgia boating license?

Boater safety education is often referred to as a boating license, but what you really need is the Georgia Boater Education Card. You can get the Georgia Boater Education Card by taking a NASBLA- and Georgia-approved online course.

Georgia Boating Education Requirements

All boat operators born after January 1, 1998 must have passed a boater safety course approved by the Georgia Department of Natural Resources and carry proof of completion on board.
